Veronica Greenan Music Studio is a unique and creative teaching studio located in Yonkers, New York, owned by Veronica Greenan (Veronica Ní Ghrianáin). A classically trained pianist and harpist, who majored in Music Education and Performance, Veronica has been teaching and playing professionally for twelve years in New York and abroad. Veronica has studied, with renowned pedagogue Edna Golandsky, founder of The Golandsky Institute, harp pedagogue, Jeanne Fintz Goldstein, at The Royal School of Music, MSM, and Molloy College. Veronica has taught music in Jamaica W.I., Ireland and in New York. She started the St. Barnabas Harp Ensemble at St. Barnabas Church in Woodlawn, Bronx in 2015. The harp ensemble learn Irish harp technique and learn many Irish pieces for performances in the Yonkers and Woodlawn community. Her music studio is for students of all ages and levels interested in learning how to play the harp and/or piano. Students receive classical training, and experience many genres of music such as Classical, Jazz, Irish, Contemporary and Pop/Rock, depending on their interests. Throughout the year, Veronica Greenan Music Studio offers performance opportunities, music examinations preparation (NYSSMA, ABRSM) and much more! Veronica performs around the tri-state under her Irish name, Veronica Ní Ghrianáin.
